One of the easiest ways to get around Amsterdam is by tram, unless you have a bicycle of course! When we arrived to Amsterdam Central Station we hopped on a tram which brought us straight to Leidseplein, one of Amsterdam’s main squares. From there it was only a short walk to our hostel, Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark.

Churros, or Xurros in Catalan, are pastries made of fried dough. The dough consists of flour, water and salt. Nothing more, nothing less. Being fried in oil, they are quite filling. But oh so delicious!
